Approx 20 years ago at a time in my life of great stress I was exposed to Psychotherapy techniques which really worked. Unfortunately the person who introduced me to them did not know their background.

Some 10 years later I was reading a book and realized what had happened to me were NLP processes, and, with the personal knowledge of how powerful these techniques were, I was determined to learn more. The more I read the more I realized that I wanted to become qualified and help people as my friend had helped me all those years previously.

NLP is a study of “how we know what we know ”. A key tenet of NLP is that “ People aren’t the problem, the problem is the problem! ” or as Dr. John Grinder (cofounder of NLP) states “ The map is not the territory ” My studies have taken me through Practitioner of NLP, Practitioner of Eriksonian Hypnosis and currently Master Practitioner of NLP.

I am a qualified VTAB accredited trainer, mentor and assessor holding a Certificate 4 in Work Place Assessment, Mentoring and Workplace Training. I have had a long and varied career starting with Apprenticeship to Royal Air Force Search and Rescue and Special Forces. A stint in the Middle East with armed forces and eventually to Australia.

I changed direction from aviation to Safety and Occupational Health and safety and have held several corporate positions as Corporate or National Safety Manager. In addition I have also established, grown and sold successful small businesses ranging from a driving school, commercial diving business, Limousine services, First Aid and training company to Construction Safety Services.

NLP changed my life, my self esteem and self confidence. It taught me that no matter how complex and complicated a problem seems there is a proven pathway to resolution and a meaningful and rich future for anyone bold enough to pursue it.
