Accredited NLP Practitioner Life coach Location: Hunter Valley., Australia Life has been a diverse journey that has brought me here. After school and some early work, the urge to travel came upon me. A few friends and I went to Europe for a year travelling in a Kombi Van, exploring Britain and the Continent. On returning home I was employed for 10 years in the telecommunications industry. I was married in 1981 and in the next few years became the proud father of two beautiful girls. During this time I began studying Theology and received an Associate Diploma in Ministry. It was during my time in Qld, that I felt the call to Christian ministry. So my very patient wife and family packed our possessions and moved back to where we started – Maitland NSW. I am still ministering in the Church I planted in 1992. In these past 10 years I have continued my ministry studies and now hold a B.A in Theological Studies. During this time as a Minister, I have been confronted with all manner of human need and began to seek ways to assist people on life’s journey. I did studies in counselling and prayer ministry and saw some wonderful results but not to the extent that I longed for. Then I discovered Neuro-Linguistic Programming. NLP is a study of “how we know what we know ”. A key tenet of NLP is that “ People aren’t the problem, the problem is the problem!” My studies have taken me through Practitioner of NLP, Practitioner of Ericksonian Hypnosis and currently Master Practitioner of NLP. I am also in the process of completing a Certificate 4 in Wo drk Place Assessment and Training. All these studies have convinced me that people can make real and lasting change in their lives. We do not have to be governed by old thoughts and feelings. It is said, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks, and a leopard can’t change his spots. ” Aren’t you glad you’re neither an “old dog nor a leopard! ” Why not try NLP as a means of making the changes you long for in your life.
