Werner has studied psychology, sociology and educational science in Germany finishing with a degree before he worked in the film and TV industry. He is an author of children's books and a writer / director of many films which won him international prizes. Education and training has been always part of Werner's life. He lectured both in Australia and abroad, most notably at Murdoch University in WA, the Australian Film, Television & Radio School, in New Zealand, Singapore, France and Germany. Werner holds a Graduate Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

"I always have been interested in why people do what they do and how so often they are stuck in the same pattern. Whether I'm coaching my film heroes through the plot, the actors through the making of the film or my clients through their life's journey - I am doing it with NLP and my deepest respect. And in life as in movies a happy outcome is always an option".
